How to open an account

You can open an account with the following steps:

1. Install and Sign up with moomoo

2. Choose Open Account

3. Select if you are a Singapore citizen or permanent resident

4. Verify your Email

5. Complete the online application form

6. Submit your application

Information required for Singapore citizens or permanent residents to open an account:

1. Copy of your NRIC and proof of address* (Not required for users who complete the application form using their SingPass details via MyInfo)

2. Your employment status

3. Your financial status

4. Your tax information

Information required for Non-Singapore citizens and permanent residents to open an account:

1. Your passport photo page and proof of address*

2. Your employment status

3. Your financial status

4. Your tax information

Normally, Your application will be processed within 1-3 business days. In some cases, we might reach out to you for more information.

*Proof of address:

An original/photocopy of ANY ONE of the following:

1、Latest telephone/internet bill

2、Latest Bank Statement, Insurance Statement or Broker Statement

3、Latest CPF – My Notifications page (full print out and showing date of print out)

4、Latest correspondence from any Singapore government agency

 

Please note that all supporting documents should not be more than 3 months old when uploading.
