        How to understand "Transaction Stats"

        In this article, we will introduce how to understand transaction statistics on moomoo.

        Tab the red box No.1 labeled as statistics, then tab the area in red box No.2 shown above, you will see all statistics subjected to the stock you want to screen as follows. 

        Section 1

        • Average price

        The average price of an asset or security is taken as the simple arithmetic average of closing prices over a specified time period, or over specific periods of duration intraday. 

        Formula: Average price = total turnover / total volume

        • Total number of transactions

        A stock transaction is a process that occurs when stocks change ownership. A total number of transactions refers to the number of all transactions executed for the stock on that day.

        • Total trading volume

        Volume of trade measures the total number of shares or contracts transacted for a specified security during a specified time period. It includes the total number of shares transacted between a buyer and seller during a transaction. When securities are more actively traded, their trade volume is high, and when securities are less actively traded, their trade volume is low.

        Section 2

        • Shares statistics 

        Shares stats. metrics help users to determine the upside or downside momentum of a single stock by aggregating each transaction data intraday that classified in long/short activity. 

        Section 3

        • Price list

        Price list provides users with a depth of price information, it generates the total number of stocks traded at the same price level and breaks down the transaction into buying and selling sections.
