00:00 We have Mark Zuckerberg assembling a team of experts to achieve artificial general intelligence.
00:04 So it seems we still need the humans
00:06 and their brain trust to develop this stuff.
00:09 Yeah, absolutely.
00:09 And this kind of connects quite well with the scale AI investment that we talked about relates to Meta yesterday.
00:15 And scale AI is all about using humans to train
00:19 the the artificial intelligence.
00:20 So, you know, I think this is a clip
00:22 yesterday and today, very clear statement of intent from Meta that they want to be the unequivocal leader
00:28 in the kind of open source AI of the future.
00:30 And that really that's the underlying platform that companies use to drive their own models.
00:35 And you know, they've got a lot of competition though against
00:38 Google Gemini and and ChatGPT from open AI.
00:40 So, you know,
00:41 that they feel the pressure too
00:43 and they they can't really kind of rest on any laws whatsoever.
00:46 And I know that, you know, again, like a lot of the other systems, their most recent foundation model LAMA 4 didn't quite live up to their own expectations or the
00:54 expectations of external developers.
00:56 So I think, you know, the industry is perhaps kind of hit a bit of a kind of
01:00 niggle point, if you like, in terms of, you know, the kind of next evolutions of AI are not coming quite through the pace they thought they would.

01:08 you know, smart work to be done by super smart engineers to kind of
01:12 kind of
01:13 make that next step forward.
