10:26 PM EST, 02/27/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Amber Hill Financial Holdings (HKG:0033) said it turned to fiscal H1 earnings of HK$0.091 ($0.012) per diluted share from a loss of HK$0.1169 a year prior.
Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company in the six months ended Dec. 31, 2021 reached HK$48.9 million versus a loss of HK$15.2 million in the previous year, according to a late Friday filing.
Revenue surged to HK$215.5 million year over year from HK$46.9 million. dx
The gains were driven by a year-on-year decrease in finance costs to HK$772,000 from HK$6.7 million, income of HK$11.2 million from the sale of certain units, and reversal of impairment on certain receivables of HK$1.3 million, the securities broker said.
