Sun Hing Printing Posts Higher Fiscal H1 Earnings as Revenue From Projects Rise

12:40 AM EST, 02/16/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Sun Hing Printing (HKG:1975) said earnings in fiscal H1 rose to HK$0.106 ($0.014) from HK$0.0574 a year prior.

Profit attributable to equity holders of the company for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2021 advanced year over year to HK$50.9 million from HK$27.5 million, according to a late Tuesday filing.

Revenue went up to HK$358.9 million year over year from HK$163.7 million.

The printing services provider said the gains were driven by higher revenue from some projects, increased client orders, and improved cost efficiency.

Sun Hing raised its cash interim dividend to HK$0.018 per share from HK$0.015 in the previous year, payable March 18 to shareholders of record on March 4.

Shares fell over 2% in early afternoon trade Wednesday.
