After winning the award, Gao Yu delivered a keynote speech entitled "practicing long-term Doctrine". He shared Ming Yuan Cloud Group's four persistence over the past 24 years, as well as the four challenges he faced. Speaking of challenges, he said that Ming Yuan Cloud Group is practicing "strategic methodology in an uncertain era"-- after finding a roughly clear direction, give full play to the initiative and ingenuity of the organization in the right direction to solve the difficulties and challenges encountered in the process of development.

Hello, everyone, first of all, thank you for the invitation of the dark horse of entrepreneurship, and I am honored to be honored as the entrepreneur of the year. The theme I share today is "practicing long-term Doctrine".

In 1997, several partners and I started a business to do management software for real estate developers for more than 24 years. Over the past 24 years, we have been serving China's real estate industry, and so far, we have provided digital solutions and products to more than 7000 real estate customers. Among the top 100 housing enterprises, Ming Yuan Cloud Group has served more than 90. We have a front-line team of more than 8000 people (including ODC partners) to provide localization services to our customers throughout the country, and more than 2000 R & D teams have been deployed in Shenzhen and Wuhan.

Ming Yuan Cloud Group's four persistence

Ming Yuan Cloud Group's 24-year development can be summarized as the following four characteristics:

First, extreme focus

In the past 24 years, Ming Yuan Cloud Group's digital service has mainly focused on the digital field of residential development. in this development process, we have also faced a lot of temptations, but we have always stuck to the industry, which is why we have achieved today's results. We have just upgraded our brand mission: to cultivate digital technology and lead the industry to upgrade. The next business strategy will mainly expand along the digital direction of the real estate industry, facing not only residential development, but also digital innovation and services in the fields of industrial construction, industrial operation, property services, commercial services and so on.

Second, professional victory

In the process of development, we will inevitably face the competition from GM manufacturers. Some GM manufacturers are strong, and it is a great challenge for us in the vertical industry. However, we have always adhered to a thorough differential competition strategy and focused on in-depth research and innovation in the industry. our Mingyuan Real Estate Research Institute has gathered a large number of experts with rich practical experience in the industry. a number of industry practical books and research reports are published every year, which has established a very high reputation in the real estate industry. Under the new situation, we have strengthened the construction of industrial research teams in the three areas of stock, supply chain and digital marketing within the research institute system.

At the same time, we practice our internal skills professionally and insist on non-low-price competition. In the vertical field, blindly low-price competition is not conducive to the long-term development of the company. In the SaaS era, we have to fight a value war rather than a price war, which in turn forces us to practice our internal skills and be able to surpass our competitors professionally.

Third, the partnership of "cohabitation without marriage"

In 2000, we began to distribute the national market through the mode of "direct selling + distribution". At present, we have set up a direct branch in "Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen". In other places, we rely on the ability of our joint venture partners to provide localized services to our customers across the country. We have worked with many joint venture partners for as long as 20 years, and this cooperation model is also very unique in the industry: we do not invest in any of our joint venture partners, and the only business of our joint venture partners is to cooperate with Ming Yuan Cloud Group. For example, in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Henan, Hubei and other places, we entrust all the business of a province to our joint venture partners, and we absolutely do not sell directly there. In this way, we have established a long-term cooperation model that is both close and without equity relationship, which we describe internally as "cohabitation without marriage". We fully trust each other and believe in the power of trust.

Fourth, continue to increase investment in technology.

From the point of view of the course of development, we have moved from a single sales product to the whole country in the first stage, and established a national sales network. The second stage is the transition to the "cloud" from 2013 to 2014. In the past six or seven years, we have invested a lot of painstaking efforts in the transformation of SaaS. The share of SaaS revenue has increased from 1% in 2013 to more than 50% last year. In fact, the cooperation income of most customers continues to grow every year, the scope of our cooperation with customers is getting wider and wider, and the depth of cooperation is getting deeper and deeper, precisely because our customers recognize our value. we also need to continue to invest in technology and open architecture. In 2015, Ming Yuan Cloud Group launched the Skyline PaaS open platform, which is a very core strategy to provide customers with more scene-based Saas products through the technology platform, improve the infrastructure of industrial digitization, and further achieve the goal of "accelerating the digital upgrading of the real estate ecological chain".

Ming Yuan Cloud Group's four current challenges

The first challenge is to move the entire software industry from the original model to SaaS/ cloud computing. From a global point of view, the success rate of the transformation of traditional software companies to SaaS is very low, and the domestic market is facing great challenges.

The second challenge is that in the current industry context, we need to consider how to move from the customer's digital management enabling tools to the infrastructure of the industry chain. In the migration, we need to continuously symmetrical customer demands and closely integrate with their business.

The third challenge comes from the team. In recent years, many post-1995 and post-00s have joined the company, and they are very different from our entrepreneurial post-70s and backbone post-80s generations. how to make them better integrate into the organization and corporate culture is a question worth thinking about.

The fourth challenge is related to the industry. Over the past six months, the real estate industry has entered an unprecedented dark moment. For a period of time, we received bad news almost every day, which is a great challenge for our real estate technology service providers, but we will be able to go beyond it.

Within the company, we advocate that we can analyze the macro, but we can't complain. It's no use complaining. You can only accept it gladly. On the micro level, from the point of view of enterprises, we must actively face the changes, while actively facing it, but also make full preparations for the clarity of the industry in the future. It is impossible for us to set our strategy very clearly and think very thoroughly about what to do in a complex and changeable environment. Ming Yuan Cloud Group's strategic idea has always been to go in the right direction, to make efforts, and to wait for the return of time. We can only think clearly about which direction to move forward. We must give full play to the initiative and ingenuity of the organization in the right direction by stimulating the vitality of the organization.
