Tencent Cloud, owned by Tencent (00700.HK), has announced that it has signed a strategic cooperation with Central Plains Bank (01216.HK). The two sides will deeply integrate the advantages of business resources, focusing on jointly building financial infrastructure, jointly opening up banking business and creating an open banking ecology.
Tencent Cloud will provide all-round technical support such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and block refining to assist Central Plains Bank in building an open bank cloud platform and a full-stack cloud platform. Based on Tencent Cloud's own artificial intelligence, private computing, security, audio and video capabilities, both sides will actively explore products and services such as virtual business hall, intelligent customer service, face recognition and reinsurance.
Tencent Cloud will also support business operation and expansion in terms of risk control, data, talent and other aspects, including the application of privacy computing and big data technology to deepen regional financial marketing cooperation and tap the value of big data; assist Central Plains Bank to carry out market research and promotion activities, and empower the construction of training system to jointly promote the construction of digital talents in member banks.
At the same time, the two sides plan to carry out marketing cooperation with WeChat Pay to integrate the financial and credit capabilities of members of the cloud platform of open banks, and enrich comprehensive financial solutions in payment, insurance, credit and other scenarios.
