Zhitong Financial App News, CECINT'LHOLD (00759) released results for the six months ended October 31, 2021, the group's income was HK $972 million, down 10.3% from the same period last year; profit attributable to the company's owners was HK $18.798 million, up 25.38% from the same period last year; and earnings per share were HK2.82 cents.
During the same period, the Group adjusted its commodity mix in response to changes in demand in the local retail market, increasing the proportion of snacks and snacks and replacing some shares of grain and oil non-staple foods with lower gross profit margins. And the performance of the manufacturing business improved significantly during the period, so the profit attributable to equity holders increased by 25.4% compared with the same period last year.
