[Caihua News] Baoji Capital Holdings (08168.HK) announced that for the year ended September 30, 2021, the group's income was about HK $5.567 million, down 65.63% from the same period last year. The loss attributable to shareholders was HK $9.43 million, compared with a profit of HK $5.623 million in the same period last year. Loss per share is HK0.94 cents. No dividend.
The decrease in income was mainly due to a decrease in the total number of institutional finance consultancy transactions and a decrease in the total fees for corporate finance consultancy services provided by the Group. The loss during the year was mainly due to (I) an increase in income of about HK $10.6 million and a decrease in other income of about HK $8.2 million.
As at 30 September 2021 and 30 September 2020, the Group's cash and cash equivalents were approximately HK $18.9 million and HK $24.7 million respectively. The Group's current ratio is about 3.9 times, compared with 15.5 times on 30 September 2020.
