Zhitong Financial App News, MAYER HOLDINGS (01116) issued an announcement that on December 3, 2021, the company received a letter from Xu Lidi about his resignation as chairman of the board of directors and executive director, effective from December 3, 2021.
Upon receipt of the resignation letter, the Board of Directors of the Company tried to contact Xu Lidi to further understand the reasons for his resignation and persuade him to withdraw his resignation, but the contact has not been successful as of the date of this announcement.
Accordingly, the Board hereby announces that Xu Lidi ceases to be the Chairman and Executive Director of the Board and the Chairman and member of the Company's nomination Committee with effect from 3 December 2021. The Board would like to add that Xu Lidi made a number of allegations against the Company and certain directors and shareholders in his resignation letter as the reasons for his resignation. The company is now seeking legal advice on the allegations made by Xu Lidi.
