Zhitong Financial App News, Fushi Financial (02263) announced its interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2021, with an income of HK $21.621 million, an increase of 3.0% over the same period last year, and a total profit and comprehensive income of HK $8.663 million, an increase of 29.0% over the same period last year. Earnings per share are HK0.87 cents.
According to the announcement, the overall increase was mainly due to the increase in revenue from placing and underwriting services during the reporting period.
The increase in net profit was mainly due to the reversal of impairment losses on accounts receivable arising from securities trading business; the increase in income and the decrease in financing costs compared with the six months ended September 30, 2020 also offset the increase in staff costs.
