Gelonghui Southern rotation Holdings (01982.HK) announced on November 26 that for the six months ended September 30, 2021, its income was 2.4525 billion Hong Kong dollars, up 6.9 percent from the same period last year; net profit was 203.1 million Hong Kong dollars, down 11.3 percent from the same period last year; adjusted net profit was 191.7 million Hong Kong dollars, down 18.4 percent from the same period last year; and basic earnings per share were 8.4 Hong Kong cents.
According to the announcement, although the Group's production capacity in Vietnam was disrupted and affected by the measures taken by the Vietnamese government to control the COVID-19 epidemic, the Group still recorded an increase in earnings, which was mainly due to an increase in sales of cashmere yarns, while total sales of men's and women's knitted products decreased slightly.
