Norwegian Air Shuttle Names Hans-Jorgen Wibstad CFO

Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA said Wednesday it has appointed Hans-Jorgen Wibstad as chief financial officer, effective no later than June 1, 2022.

The low-cost airline said Mr. Wibstad currently serves as CFO of Multiconsult ASA and has more than 20 years' experience from various CFO and management roles within industry, shipbuilding, shipping and offshore, including CFO at Kongsberg Gruppen ASA.

He also has broad experience from the financial markets, including having worked as a senior corporate banker for several years, the company said.

Mr. Wibstad will succeed Geir Karlsen, who currently serves as both CFO and chief executive.
