Leonardo SpA on Thursday posted a lower after-tax profit for the third quarter despite a slightly higher revenue for the period, and backed its outlook for the full year 2021.

The Italian aerospace-and-defense company posted after-tax profit of 52 million euros ($60.4 million) for the quarter, down from EUR77 million for the same period a year prior.

Conversely, revenue rose slightly to EUR3.22 billion from EUR3.15 billion a year earlier.
