Galp Energia SGPS SA said Monday that its net loss widened and sales increased in the third quarter.
The Portuguese energy company said its net loss came in at 334 million euros ($389 million) as it booked special items of EUR545 million, compared with a loss of EUR106 million for the third quarter a year earlier.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were EUR655 million compared with EUR362 million a year earlier.
Sales rose to EUR4.24 billion from EUR2.75 billion the previous year.
For the full year, Galp expects adjusted Ebitda to surpass EUR2.3 billion, the company said.
