The ChiNext Price Index--a measure for emerging industries and startups--advances 0.3%. Renewable-energy shares are supported by China's continued support for the sector that includes solar and wind. LONGi Green Energy Technology gains 1.0% and Arctech Solar Holding rises 3.1%. Meanwhile, coal producers should benefit from high coal prices during an ongoing energy crunch.
