DJ Resonant Shares Rise After Expanding Manufacturing Partnership
By Robb M. Stewart
Resonant Inc.'s shares climbed Wednesday after the provider of radio frequency filter solutions said it expanded its commercial partnership with Murata Manufacturing Co. for the development of 5G XBAR RF filters.
In morning trading, the shares were 10% higher, at $2.37. They are down roughly 10% since the end of last year.
Resonant said the expansion of the multi-year partnership targets RF filter designs using its proprietary technology across additional brands.
"This agreement brings us one step closer towards XBAR technology reaching the market with dominant scale and solving many of the challenges next-generation networks face today," George Holmes, chairman and chief executive of Resonant, said.
