According to people familiar with the matter, Apple IncIt plans to pay its Apple Store employees an one-time bonus of up to $1000 next month for their work during the current global health crisis.
Apple Store employees who join before the end of March this year will receive a bonus of $1000, while employees who join after that date will receive a bonus of $500. Apple Inc will receive a bonus of $200 for new hires for the holiday shopping season. The company will also pay bonuses to AppleCare and online sales staff.
Apple Inc does not often give bonuses to retail employees. The last bonus was in 2018, when Apple Inc handed out $2500 worth of restricted shares to most of his employees, including Apple Store employees. The bonuses were paid out after the introduction of the new US tax law and were paid to most employees below the director level.
