NVIDIA Corp (NVDA.US) is expected to start seeking EU approval for his $54 billion acquisition of Arm early next month.
It is reported that European regulators may launch a full investigation into the deal after a preliminary review. NVIDIA Corp is unlikely to provide remedies in the preliminary assessment.
Last week, UK antitrust authorities said it was necessary to conduct an in-depth investigation into NVIDIA Corp's plan to buy Arm. NVIDIA Corp also said last week that the deal with Arm was still in progress, but the acquisition took longer than expected.
As of press time, Nvidia was up nearly 1% before trading.
