Guangdong Yueyun H1 Loss Narrows as Revenue Rises 19% on Expanded Energy Business; Shares Fall 7%

11:12 PM EDT, 08/19/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Guangdong Yueyun Transportation (HKG:3399) narrowed loss in January to June, helped by a 19% revenue growth due to its energy business expansion.

H1 net loss attributable to shareholders of the company slid to 60.7 million yuan ($9.3 million) from 111.4 million yuan a year ago, according to a late Thursday filing. Per-share loss fell to 0.08 yuan from 0.14 yuan a year prior.

Revenue jumped to 3.09 billion yuan from 2.60 billion yuan a year ago.

Shares of the transit services provider fell nearly 7% in recent late morning trading.
