TeslaCEO Elon Musk never seems to miss any satire on Apple IncSince Apple Inc rejected Musk's merger proposal in 2017, the relationship between the two companies has not been good.

In a recent development, Musk said he had deleted Apple News, a news aggregation app developed by Apple Inc for his iOS, ipad, WatchOS and MacOS devices.

Musk made the remarks in response to a tweet from Ross Garber, CEO of Gerber Kawasaki Wealth & Investment Management. Garber said in his tweet that he had deleted Apple News because it was "the main source of negative energy in my life."

Musk quickly responded briefly: "me too."

Although Apple News is a free app, the company also offers a subscription service called Apple News+. The former focuses on direct news, while the latter provides longer magazine content and paid content from well-known news sources.

Neither Garber nor Musk made it clear that the free Apple News service they cancelled was still a subscription service.
