American retail giant Walmart Inc(WMT.US) headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas are looking for a senior executive to identify customer needs and translate them into product requirements, as well as to establish cryptocurrency-related investments and partnerships.
In July this year, Amazon.Com Inc(AMZN.US) expressed interest in accepting cryptocurrency payments and issued a recruitment announcement for the head of digital currency and blockchain products.
The news that Amazon.Com Inc had accepted payment in bitcoin before the end of the year spurred Bitcoin to rebound after falling for three months.
