Haiti's first lady Martine Moise made her debut three days after the attack, posting a 2-minute 20-second audio message on her social media. In her voice, she accused "mercenaries" of assassinating President Moise and attributed his motive to President Moise's intention to hold a referendum on a new constitution.
Martine Moise was injured in the attack and is currently being treated in Miami.
