Haiti's first lady Martine Moise made her debut three days after the attack, posting a 2-minute 20-second audio message on her social media. In her voice, she accused "mercenaries" of assassinating President Moise and attributed his motive to President Moise's intention to hold a referendum on a new constitution.

Martine Moise was injured in the attack and is currently being treated in Miami.

So far, police have arrested 20 of the 28 people suspected of assassinating President Moise, including 18 Colombians and 22 Haitian-Americans, killing three others and leaving five at large. (Hou Jiaqi, a reporter from the front desk)
