Sina Science and Technology News on the evening of June 25, Beijing time, it is reported thatTeslaCEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk) andTwitterCEO Jack Dorsey (Jack Dorsey) has agreed to discuss bitcoin-related issues with each other at an event in July.

Today, Dorsey is in Twitter.Post to promote "The B Word" activities. Launched by Square, ARK Invest and Paradigm, The B Word is an institutional bitcoin education program designed to encourage companies and institutional investors to accept Bitcoin. The event will be held online on July 21, when Dorsey and others will attend as speakers.

Musk responded to Dorsey's tweet (Twitter message), asking if the letter "B" stands for "Bicurious" (curious). Dorsey responded: "it's so weird!" Let's talk about it at the event. You can share all your curiosity. " Musk agreed. He said, "for curious people? All right, let's get started. " Dorsey replied, "deal!"

According to the "The B Word" event page, the event will provide live experience and relevant content to the investor community, allowing people to discuss the role of Bitcoin in global financial institutions more insightfully.

Musk is no stranger to Bitcoin, and his words and deeds even determine the price of Bitcoin. Musk was initially supportive of bitcoin, and in January changed the profile of his Twitter account to "bitcoin", which at one point boosted the price of bitcoin by $800.

In February, TeslaThe company has bought $1.5 billion worth of bitcoins, it said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) (SEC). In addition, Tesla also said that he would accept payment in bitcoin.

But in May, Musk changed his face and stood on the opposite side of Bitcoin. Tesla stopped paying in bitcoin on the grounds that "bitcoin consumes a lot of fossil fuels," he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Musk said Tesla would return to Bitcoin when at least half of Bitcoin mining proved to be powered by clean energy.

On Tuesday, the price of Bitcoin fell below $30,000, briefly wiping out all its 2021 gains. But it has since rebounded to $33000, but is still down nearly 50 per cent from its peak of nearly $65000 set in April.
