Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced this morning that the group's passenger carrying capacity ((passenger capacity)) in May this year has reached 27% of the level before the outbreak of crown disease. It was expected in March to reach the pre-outbreak level of 27% by June.
It said the group's passenger carrying rate (passenger load factor) reached 14.3% in May, an increase of 5.7% over the same month last year. In May, Singapore Airlines itself had a passenger carrying rate of 14.9%, an increase of 5.5% over the same period last year, while Cool Airlines had a passenger carrying rate of 9.3%, an increase of 6.6% over the same period last year.

The US business of Meiying Hotel Trust (EHT), which was protected by bankruptcy, received a net income of US $153.9 million (S $205m) after the sale of five hotels.
