The European Drug Administration approved Pfizer on Friday.And BioNTech SE's COVID-19 vaccine for young people aged 12 and above laid the foundation for teenagers in continental Europe to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Germany has formulated a youth COVID-19 vaccination program and will expand the coverage to people aged 12 and above from June 7.
The United States approved the vaccine for use in young people earlier this month.
Note: Pfizer research shows that its COVID-19 vaccine has a 100% protection rate for 12-to 15-year-olds.
