Waconia Goodwill will open its doors in late fall of 2025
SAINT PAUL, Minn., March 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota is pleased to announce its successful closing today to build a new Goodwill store in Waconia.
The new, 20,600 square-foot Waconia store will be just 30 minutes west of the Twin Cities and joins neighboring Goodwill stores in Chaska and Chanhassen. Located at 860 Marketplace Drive, it offers convenient access from Marketplace Drive adjacent to Mackenthun's Fine Foods grocery store, and access from Highway 5/Augie Mueller Memorial Highway.
Goodwill Waconia will employ 25-30 people in the community when it opens in late fall of 2025.

Donations are accepted at convenient drive through donation bays at over 40 Goodwill store locations seven days a week and help divert over 65M pounds from Minnesota landfills annually through reuse and recycle operations.
With a roughly 14,500 square-foot sales floor Goodwill Waconia customers will be able to select from thousands of items daily at affordable prices. Merchandise changes every hour and includes clothing, household items, books, art, electronics, furniture and more.
