Benzinga ·  Mar 12 03:07

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said Tuesday that he’s agreed to suspend a threatened 25% surcharge on exports of electricity to Michigan, New York and Minnesota in retaliation for President Trump’s planned tariffs on Canadian goods.

Instead, Ford said he will meet with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick in Washington, D.C., on Thursday for trade talks.
