Wenyuan Zhixing, a Chinese self-driving start-up, announced on Thursday that it had completed a round of financing worth hundreds of millions of dollars, valuing the company at $3.3 billion, but did not disclose the amount of the financing.
This round of investment institutions include IDG Capital, Hechuang Investment, Cornerstone Capital, Cypress Star, Yunjiu Capital, K3 Ventures and so on. Wenyuan Zhixing early investors CMC Capital, QiMing Venture Partners, Luofeng Capital and so on continue to participate.
At present, Wen Yuan Zhixing is conducting autopilot tests in China and the United States. In January this year, the company was allowed to officially launch an autopilot test in Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, and was approved by the California Motor vehicle Administration to conduct a test on the state's roads last month.
