DJ OBJ, Manager Advise SPAC -- Market Talk
18:51 ET--NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. and his manager, Ajay Sangha, are among the strategic advisers of the special-purpose acquisition company Tribe Capital Growth Corp. II, according to an S-1 filing. The Wall Street Journal last week reported that OBJ, as Beckham is known, has signed on to advise the SPAC. Tribe Capital, the tech-focused VC firm sponsoring the SPAC, also has another active SPAC seeking a target. The SPAC says it isn't prohibited from combining with a company affiliated with its sponsor, executive officers or directors. Henry Ward, the CEO of Tribe Capital portfolio company Carta, is also a strategic adviser for the SPAC. The SPAC says it has 12 months to strike a deal. (dave.sebastian@wsj.com; @depsebastian)
