On May 24, Gelonghui Resources (02489.HK) released its report for the first quarter of 2024. During the reporting period, the Group's revenue was approximately RMB 109 million, an increase of about 15.3% over the previous year. The increase was mainly due to a 17.3% increase in average selling price, partially offset by a 1.7% drop in sales volume. During the reporting period, the Group's gross profit was approximately RMB 575.47 million, an increase of about 21.6% over the previous year. The increase in gross profit was mainly due to an increase in average selling prices. During the reporting period, the profit attributable to the owners of the Group's parent company was approximately RMB 26.167 million, an increase of about 28.8% over the previous year. This increase is mainly due to an increase in net profit after tax.
