SBI Sumishin Net Bank Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO): Maruyama Noriaki; hereafter, “Sumishin SBI Net Bank”) and Chubu Electric Power Mirise Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya-shi, Aichi; Representative Director: Kamiya Yasunori; hereafter, “Chubu Electric Power Mirise”) today announced that Chubu Electric Power Mirise's energy service and BaaS (Banking as a Service) where Sumishin SBI Net Bank provides full banking (*1) functions We have concluded an agreement (hereinafter “this agreement”) with the aim of developing a new service combining “NEOBANK” (*2).
| Outline of this Agreement
Both companies will proceed with studies on benefits such as granting catene points (*3) when paying energy bills from “NEOBANK” accounts, and financial services that can be used when purchasing solar power generation, storage batteries, etc. for Chubu Electric Power Mirise customers.
These new services are scheduled to be launched in 2024. Details of the service will be announced as soon as they are decided.
Going forward, both companies will continue to aim to provide services that meet customer expectations and needs by utilizing the knowledge gained in business activities up until now and cutting-edge IT technology.
