Gelonghui, May 22丨Haichang Ocean Park (02255.HK) announced that the Group recently signed a non-legally binding memorandum of cooperation with PT MULTI ARTHA PRATAMA (PT) to jointly develop and operate tailor-made themed entertainment products, including but not limited to aquariums, hotels, commerce and/or retail of tourism development projects located within Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK2).
PT is a limited liability company established under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, engaged in real estate business in Indonesia, and is the owner of PIK2.
PIK2 is a major development project located in DKI, Jakarta, only about 7 minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. PIK2 will cover an area of approximately 2,650 hectares.
The board of directors believes that this cooperation marks important progress in the Indonesian project, the Group's benchmark overseas project, and has important strategic significance in the company's internationalization process. This cooperation will gather the superior resources of both parties, help the group establish an international brand and build a lifestyle and entertainment platform featuring marine culture on a global scale. The Group will use an asset-light model to expand more projects around the world in the future.
