SJM Holdings has announced the acquisition of the Kam Pek Community Centre for HK$166 million, aiming to convert it into a gastronomy hub to enhance non-gaming attractions in Macau. The property will complement SJM Resorts’ existing food and beverage offerings, contributing to the revitalization of the San Ma Lo area. The transaction with STDM, the controlling shareholder, is classified as a connected transaction under the Listing Rules, requiring reporting and announcement but not independent shareholder approval.
