According to the news, Osi Group announced that the Group expects net profit attributable to shareholders for the six-month period ending March 31, 2024 to be reduced by no less than HK$40 million, while achieving approximately HK$57.1 million for the six-month period ending March 31, 2023.
According to the announcement, the reduction in net profit during the period was mainly due to increased employee costs due to high-performing employee retention measures; increased marketing expenses due to investment in high-profile and high-impact advertising campaigns; and confirmation of a loss of about HK$11.4 million in non-cash goodwill.
