Automobile exports maintained rapid year-on-year growth in April 2024.
The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to an analysis by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, automobile exports maintained rapid year-on-year growth in April 2024. In April 2024, 504,000 vehicles were exported, up 0.4% month-on-month and 34% year-on-year. From January to April 2024, 1,827 million vehicles were exported, an increase of 33.4% over the previous year.
In April 2024, 429,000 passenger cars were exported, up 1.2% month-on-month and 35.9% year-on-year.
From January to April 2024, passenger car exports were 1,539,000 units, an increase of 34.8% over the previous year.
In April 2024, 74,000 commercial vehicles were exported, down 4.2% from the previous month and up 24% from the previous year.
From January to April 2024, 288,000 commercial vehicles were exported, an increase of 26.5% over the previous year.
In April 2024, 390,000 conventional fuel vehicles were exported, up 3.3% month-on-month and 41.6% year-on-year.
From January to April 2024, 1.407 million conventional fuel vehicles were exported, an increase of 37.7% over the previous year.
In April 2024, 114,000 new energy vehicles were exported, down 8.6% month on month and up 13.3% year on year.
