[Backside Overview]

The Nikkei Average in the backstage started at 38701.36 yen, which was 315.63 yen higher than the previous day, and the increase slightly expanded from the previous draw (38669.57 yen). Nikkei 225 futures during lunchtime are strong in the 38620 yen to 38700 yen range, and they are a good match. The dollar and yen are at the level of 1 dollar = 153.90-154.00 yen, and the yen is about 50 yen high and the dollar depreciation level from around 9:00 a.m. As for Asian market conditions, the Shanghai Composite Index remained in the positive zone and rose by about 0.3%, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose steadily by about 1.1% even after it started rising.

The backstage Tokyo Market began with buying slightly ahead of the previous closing. The fact that Dow Jones Industrial Average futures have remained steady due to overtime trading also seems to be a sense of security in the Tokyo market. Meanwhile, there is also a tendency to forego aggressive purchases due to a sense of caution against the appreciation of the yen and depreciation of the dollar.

In the sector, services, other products, and securities commodity futures are at the top of the rate of increase, while pulp and paper, petroleum and coal products, and steel are at the top of the rate of decline.
