Shinko Kogyo <6458> announced consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending 2024/3 on the 14th. Net sales increased 15.9% from the previous fiscal year to 51.943 billion yen, operating profit increased 43.8% to 8.627 billion yen, ordinary profit increased 39.4% to 9.120 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders increased 45.8% to 6.588 billion yen.

Sales in Japan increased 15.0% from the previous fiscal year to 44.426 billion yen, and segment profit (operating profit) increased 40.4% to 8.448 billion yen. In addition to an increase in sales of equipment related to industrial air conditioning, efforts were made to acquire demand for air conditioning construction, which remained at a high level.

Sales in Asia were 7.539 billion yen, up 21.3% from the previous fiscal year, and segment profit (operating profit) was 135 million yen (loss of 68 million yen in the previous fiscal year). In China, the economy has been recognized to pick up due to policy effects, but due to the effects of the novel coronavirus infection, delivery delays from the end of the previous fiscal year to the current fiscal year occurred, and there were effects such as the depreciation of the yen.

As for the consolidated earnings forecast for the full year ending 2025/3, we expect sales to increase 4.0% from the previous fiscal year to 54.00 billion yen, operating profit up 5.5% to 9.100 billion yen, ordinary profit up 4.2% to 9.50 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders to increase 3.3% to 6.80 billion yen.

Also, on the same day, it was announced that the year-end dividend for the fiscal year ending 2024/3 will be 70.00 yen, an increase of 20.00 yen from the previous forecast. As a result, the annual dividend per share is 105.00 yen (48.00 yen increase compared to the previous fiscal year).
