Hsbc Holdings Plc (UK) (GB:HSBA) has released an update.
HSBC Holdings PLC successfully completed tender offers for various note series, with the aggregate principal amount tendered reaching nearly $5 billion, just under the $5 billion maximum condition. The offers, which were contingent on certain conditions including a new issue condition, have been met, allowing for the settlement of the new notes and payment to holders on May 17, 2024. All accepted notes will be cancelled and retired as part of HSBC Holdings’ financial management strategy.
