堀場製---大幅続落、第1四半期は市場想定下回るスタートに

Horiba Manufacturing --- drastic decline, the first quarter started below market expectations

Fisco Japan ·  May 15 01:50

Horiba's <6856> continues to decline drastically. Financial results for the first quarter were announced the day before, and operating profit was 10 billion yen, down 4.2% from the same period last year, falling below market expectations of around 11.5 billion yen. The full-year forecast is 52 billion yen, an increase of 9.9% from the previous fiscal year, but since exchange rate expectations for both the dollar and the euro have been revised in the direction of depreciation of the yen, it seems that it is actually viewed as a downside. It seems that Japanese semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufacturers, etc. are aware of delays in demand recovery, etc.
