JPMorgan, Halliburton are 'stellar' stocks -CIO

STORY: "The easy money has been made when it comes to tech stocks and Nvidia," said Smith. "You want to look at opportunities where the market hasn't rallied tremendously and... those sectors for us are going to be financials and energy."

Smith said JPMorgan "has struggled a bit over the last two years, but we think 2024 is going to be a breakout year for them," said Smith.

"On the energy side, our favorite stock is Halliburton," he added. "If oil goes up to $80, $90, $100 a barrel, we think it could be a real big winner."
