Ecopetrol (EC) has released an update.
Ecopetrol, Colombia’s largest integrated energy company, has summoned its local bondholders to discuss a statutory reform following a shareholder meeting. Bondholders are called to attend meetings on May 20, 2024, either in-person in Bogotá or virtually, to consider the amendment of the company’s corporate purpose and other agenda items. This move aligns with Colombian securities regulations and reflects Ecopetrol’s commitment to its growth prospects and financial strategy.
