On May 10, GLONGHUI | Liberal Arts Interactive (00434.HK) announced that the Group's earnings for the three months ending March 31, 2024 are expected to increase by about 10% to 15% over the same period of the previous year, mainly due to (i) the holding of certain online operating activities of the Group; and (ii) the continuous optimization of game products and gameplay, leading to an increase in the Group's revenue.
Profit attributable to company owners recorded during the Group period is expected to increase by about 1,120% to 1,130% over the same period of the previous year (same period last year: approximately RMB 28.7 million), mainly due to (i) the increase in revenue recorded during the Group period compared to the same period in 2023; (ii) the increase in the fair value of digital assets during the Group period; and (iii) the decrease in the fair value of financial assets such as equity investment partnerships during the Group period is less than the same period last year. If the effects of non-one-time operating factors such as changes in the fair value of financial assets such as digital assets and equity investment partnerships are excluded, the profit attributable to company owners during the group period is expected to increase by about 5% to 10% compared to the same period in 2023, excluding non-one-time operating factors such as changes in the fair value of financial assets such as equity investment partnerships, etc., mainly due to an increase in earnings expectations compared to the same period in 2023.
