Barclays plc (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently bought back and intends to cancel 3.3 million of its own shares, trading between 211.9000p and 214.6000p, as part of its ongoing share repurchase program. This latest transaction will reduce the company’s issued share capital to just under 15 billion ordinary shares. The share buy-back program, which began on 21 February 2024, has so far seen Barclays repurchase over 236 million shares at an average price of 183.3275p.
