Standard Chartered PLC has announced the purchase of 1,052,989 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 750.58 pence per share, as part of its ongoing 2024 share buy-back programme. These shares are set to be cancelled, which will result in a reduction of the total number of voting rights in the company. The buy-back and subsequent cancellation align with the company’s announcement on February 26, 2024, and are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
