Gelonghui, April 30, 丨 Huarong Energy (01101.HK) issued an announcement. On April 11, 2024, the company received a letter from the attorney of Tan Dexing, Cheng Guohao and Liu Liqing, dated April 10, 2024, with a statutory demand for debt repayment (“Statutory Claim”) issued by World Max Trading Corporation (“World Max”) from the agent of Hongyi Shengli Investment Co., Ltd. (“Creditor”), which claims to be one of the holders of acceptance notes issued by the company. According to the statutory debt repayment statement, World Max claims that the company owes creditors a total debt of about HK$370 million, and requires the company to repay the debt within 21 days after delivery of the statutory claims; otherwise, the creditors can file a winding-up petition against the company.
