In January-March, electricity trading centers across the country organized a total of 1424.84 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity transactions, an increase of 7.7% over the previous year; the share of electricity consumption in the whole society was 61.0%, a decrease of 1.5 percentage points over the previous year. Among them, the total amount of electricity directly traded in medium- and long-term electricity in the national electricity market was 115.48 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 6% over the previous year.

In March, various power trading center organizations across the country completed market transactions of 484.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 5.6% over the previous year. Among them, the total amount of electricity directly traded in medium- and long-term electricity in the national electricity market was 384.77 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 4.2% over the previous year.

I. Trading conditions at various electricity trading centers across the country

In January-March, electricity trading centers across the country organized a total of 1424.84 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity transactions, an increase of 7.7% over the previous year, accounting for 61.0% of the electricity consumption of the entire society, a decrease of 1.5 percentage points over the previous year. The total amount of electricity traded in the province was 1137.95 billion kilowatt-hours, including direct electricity transactions of 1101.15 billion kilowatt-hours (including 23 billion kilowatt-hours of green power transactions, 259.59 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity purchased by power grid agents), 36.52 billion kilowatt-hours of power generation rights transactions, and 280 million kilowatt-hours of other transactions. The total amount of electricity traded between provinces was 286.89 billion kilowatt-hours, including 24.33 billion kilowatt-hours of direct electricity transactions between provinces, 261.06 billion kilowatt-hours of inter-provincial delivery transactions, and 1.51 billion kilowatt-hours of power generation rights transactions.

In March, various power trading center organizations across the country completed market electricity transactions of 484.6 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 5.6% over the previous year. The total amount of electricity traded in the province was 390.33 billion kilowatt-hours, including direct electricity transactions of 376.64 billion kilowatt-hours (including 8.95 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity transactions, 71.19 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity purchased by power grid agents), 14.19 billion kilowatt-hours of power generation rights transactions, and 100 million kilowatt-hours of other transactions. The total amount of electricity traded between provinces was 93.66 billion kilowatt-hours, including 8.13 billion kilowatt-hours of direct electricity transactions between provinces, 84.74 billion kilowatt-hours of inter-provincial delivery transactions, and 800 million kilowatt-hours of power generation rights transactions.

In January-March, power trading centers in the China Grid region organized a total of 1132.45 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity transactions, up 7.0% year on year, accounting for 61% of the electricity consumption of the entire community in the region. Among them, the Beijing Electric Power Trading Center completed a total of 273.07 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity transactions between provinces, an increase of 13.5% over the previous year; China Southern Power Grid regional power trading centers organized a total of 216.26 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity transactions, up 7.2% year on year, accounting for 59% of the electricity consumption of the entire region. The total amount of electricity traded between provinces was 13.82 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 19.4%; the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Trading Center organized a total of 76.13 billion kilowatt-hours to complete market transactions, an increase of 20% over the previous year, accounting for 74% of the electricity consumption of the entire community in the region.

II. Medium- and long-term direct electricity transactions in the national electricity market

In January-March, the total amount of electricity directly traded in medium- and long-term electricity in the national electricity market was 115.48 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 6.0% over the previous year. Among them, the total amount of electricity directly traded within the province (including green electricity and grid purchases) was 1101.15 billion kilowatt-hours, and the total amount of electricity directly traded (received) between provinces was 24.33 billion kilowatt-hours.

In March, the total amount of medium- and long-term direct electricity transactions in the national electricity market was 384.77 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 4.2% over the previous year. Among them, the total amount of electricity directly traded within the province (including green electricity and grid purchases) was 376.64 billion kilowatt-hours, and the total amount of electricity directly traded (external) between provinces was 8.13 billion kilowatt-hours.

In January-March, the total amount of medium- and long-term electricity directly traded in the State Grid region was 859.54 billion kilowatt-hours, up 3.6% year on year; China Southern Power Grid's total medium- and long-term electricity direct transaction volume was 198,96 billion kilowatt-hours, up 12.6% year on year; the total amount of electricity directly traded in the Mengxi Power Grid region was 66.97 billion kilowatt-hours, up 19.8% year on year.
