AMD has been benefiting from a strong product portfolio and expanding partnerships, and companies such as Amazon (AMZN.US), Google (GOOGL.US), Microsoft (MSFT.US), and Oracle (ORCL.US) have introduced examples of artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, and general cloud based on AMD products to preview or fully make available.

According to AMD processor market share statistics for the fourth quarter of 2023 published by Mercury Research, the market share of AMD processors is growing rapidly regardless of personal computers (PCs), notebooks, or server data centers. Among them, AMD's performance in the data center field of EPYC is impressive. In terms of shipment volume, AMD EPYC has taken up as much as 23.1% of the server market, a year-on-year increase of 5.5 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2022.

AI computers are expected to benefit AMD's revenue growth. Earlier this month, AMD announced the launch of two new products, the Ryzen (Ryzen) Pro 8040 series and the AMD Ryzen Pro 8000 series, expanding its commercial mobile and desktop AI personal computer (PC) product portfolio to provide enterprise users with excellent productivity and high-quality AI and networking experiences. According to reports, AMD is the first x86 processor manufacturer to introduce AI processing NPU (neural processing unit) into the mobile and desktop PC market. According to AMD, the Ryzen Pro 8000 series processor is a leader among desktop and mobile AI processors. Whether it is desktop NPU TOPS computing power or mobile NPU TOPS computing power, it surpasses Intel's competitors.

Additionally, AMD's revenue growth in the first quarter is expected to benefit from improvements in the PC market, particularly the consumer market. According to IDC's latest report, PC shipments in the first quarter of 2024 were 59.8 million units, up 1.5% year over year.
