(hereinafter referred to as “DS Factory”), another wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, (Manufacturing business in Thailand) transports skeleton trucks and skeleton truck components imported from China through Thailand to avoid anti-dumping duties (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) levied by the US on skeleton trucks and skeleton vehicle components imported from China. According to the on-site verification situation and all recorded materials of this EAPA investigation, CBP determined that there was no substantial evidence that CIE evaded US anti-dumping duties (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD), that is, it determined that CIE did not import products containing skeleton cars and/or components from China into the US market; and CBP determined that the DS factory had evaded the transfer of skeleton trucks and skeleton car components produced in China through Thailand and exported to the US.
