Gelonghui, April 26, 丨 China Communications Construction (01800.HK) announced that according to the main operating data for the first quarter of 2024, the Group signed a new contract amount of RMB 507.298 billion, an increase of 10.81% over the annual target of 25.49% (an increase of 13.50%, or RMB 19,89,899 billion yuan, on the basis of the new contract amount of RMB 1,753.215 billion in 2023, as reviewed and approved by the board of directors). Among them, infrastructure construction business, infrastructure design business, dredging business and other businesses were RMB 464.426 billion, RMB 10.131 billion, RMB 29.219 billion, and RMB 3,522 billion, respectively.
The amount of new contracts signed by various businesses from overseas regions was RMB 91,235 billion (approximately US$12.943 billion), an increase of 9.37% over the previous year, accounting for about 18% of the Group's new contract amount. Among them, infrastructure construction business, infrastructure design business, dredging business and other businesses were RMB 87.283 billion, RMB 288 million, RMB 3.126 billion, and RMB 538 million, respectively.
